Software Engineer
Join Sequent's fully remote team to build cryptographically secure online voting infrastructure used in real elections around the world. Work across a modern stack — Rust, TypeScript/React, WebAssembly, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes — on systems where correctness and security are non-negotiable.
Responsibilities
- - Build and maintain TypeScript/React frontend for election administration and voter-facing interfaces
- - Contribute to Rust backend services and cryptographic systems
- - Work on WebAssembly modules bridging cryptographic primitives with browser-based voting UX
- - Implement and review GraphQL APIs connecting frontend to secure backend services
- - Ensure correctness, security, and reliability of election-critical software
- - Contribute to open-source platform used in real democratic elections worldwide
